Department of Environmental ScienceEnvironmental Natural Science TrackEnvironmental Management Trackestablish the ideal state of our environment.?Living Environment Design: This area encourages students to think scientifically about the design of homes and products, with the potential to gain qualifications as a second‐class architect.?Environmental Information and Data Science: Based on knowledge from information, mathematics, and statistics, students conduct research on mathematical simulations and data analysis related to the environment, contributing to environmental policy proposals.The Department of Environmental Science prepares students to think critically and integrate both natural and social scientific knowledge to realize the "sustainability" of human society. Graduates will be capable of addressing environmental and societal system issues in the context of a diverse, globalized modern society.In their first year, students learn the fundamentals of natural sciences through core departmental courses, alongside a broad liberal arts curriculum. This approach allows students to explore their interests and determine their academic direction. Once they have established their focus, they can choose from two academic tracks beginning in their second year.
